Precious-metal coated and self-adhesive film for shielding of windows and glass surfaces from high-frequency radiation (HF). Exclusive for indoor application on non heat-absorbing glass.

You can also order this product in measurements of your choice. For example:- 4.6 linear meters!
This product is cut off a large roll according to customer specifications. A return is not possible!
Attenuation: 30 dB (99.94 % shielding effectiveness) at 1 GHz, see diagram for all frequencies.
Light transmission: 72 %.
Colour of daylight: Very light green.
Mounting: Water-activated, pressure-sensitive adhesive to the back.
Material thickness: 75 µm.
Only for indoor application on non heat absorbing glass surfaces!
Indoor application, predominantly on glass surfaces but also on doors and other level surfaces.
Delivery Time: Usually between 2 - 3 working days

Background: Heat-absorbing glass is already metallized.
When solar radiation permeates the metallization and subsequently hits the window foil, multi reflections may occur.
The windowpane will needlessly heat up and thus by expansion cause leaks or even cracks in the border-seals.
Check the type of glass in advance!

Shielding attenuation
The above mentioned screening attenuation values always apply to 1Ghz. The screening attenuation is regularly tested in our own EMC laboratory, we have measurement setups due to the following standards: ASTM D4935-10, IEEE Std 299-2006, IEEEE Std 1128-1998, ASTM A698/A698M-07.
